ACCOUNTABILITIES：  

• Assign specific tasks to the members of the maintenance team
• Ensure that parts allocated for jobs are efficiently used and excess stocked appropriately
• Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain mobile equipment
• Develop, modify and install equipment required for the underground operations
• Attend to maintenance issues on time to minimize down time and potential production loss
• Lead teams and report breakdown and defects on equipment to the supervisor
• Provide inspection checklist and field documentation
• Perform any other related duties that will be assigned by the Leader

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge：

• Must have a minimum of an HND in Mechanical Engineering
• Must have a minimum of five (5) years post qualification or previous experience
• MinCom Certification will be an added advantage
• Knowledge in advance hydraulics and basic auto electricals

Skills & Abilities：

• Good communication skills (oral and written-English)
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic circuit diagram
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills with high degree of teamwork
• Proven commitment and integrity
• Compliance with GSR policy and procedures on pre-start checks, ‘Takes 5’ and other safety and environmental standards
• Show understanding of fundamental safety management systems
• Ability to use CAT, ET and SIS is an advantage
• Must be a holder of a valid Ghanaian Driver’s License Class DE (8000kg and above)
