Reporting directly to the Environmental Superintendent, this role will be responsible for implementing Golden Star Wassa Ltd (GSWL) integrated SHE plan and ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and statutory requirements.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is to lead the Security department in preventing loss by ensuring that effective strategies are developed in the areas of preparedness, training, monitoring and intelligence gathering.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this role will be responsible for leading the Technical Services team to deliver best practice services and support in the areas of mine design, mine planning, survey, geotechnical, geology, mineral resource management, hydrology, and growth studies. You will be central to applying technical expertise via systems, processes and technologies that will support to achieve the mine's performance targets. Further, be accountable for developing robust business plans to maximize the value of the mineral resource.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this position is integral to the Wassa Leadership Team, playing a vital role in providing the highest level of supply and contract expertise and broader business governance, support and advice. Important requirements of the role are delivery of robust inventory management, cost reduction through effective sourcing strategies, contract management and compliance as well as overall management of the supply department including systems and procedures.

The purpose of this job is to lead the GSWL Maintenance department in the development of continuous improvement activities will assist in the improvement of plant production. This role will work closely with the engineers onsite to ensure projects align with departmental requirements.
The role is also ultimately accountable for achieving stated GSWL localisation milestones within their department.
