Role：

The successful candidate shall have the following responsibilities, among others:

• Assess ground conditions at the face and implement ground controls as per the site requirements.
• Accurately drill the required number of patterns using mechanized electric hydraulic jumbo drill suitable for ground conditions.

• Use the appropriate mining equipment to drill holes to design lines, gradient and profile.

• Optimize drill patterns to ensure that maximum advance per round is achieved whiles maintaining strict adherence to design specifications with minimal over break.
• Ensure that all statutory requirements associated with mining operation are completed in compliance with the Mining Act and related regulations of the Republic of Ghana.
• Ensure that the working area is safe for personnel and equipment to perform duties.

• Prepare reports and complete all relevant documentations at the end of the shift.
• Perform any other duty that will be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification Required & Experience：

• Applicants should have a minimum of;
• MSLC/BECE qualification with at least 8 years’ underground work experience.
• Must have a;
• Ghanaian Blasting Certificate of competency issued by the Mine Inspectorate.
• Valid First Aid Certificate.
• Ghanaian or International Driver’s License CE
• Statutory License (Equipment Certification)

Knowledge Skills and Ability：

• Ability to read and interpret ground design support plans.
• Ability to apply discretion and judgement within established guidelines, rules and procedures.
• Must be conversant with industrial safety, health and environmental issues.
• Must be able to meet operational deadlines and targets.
• Must be able to communicate meaningfully in English language (Oral and Written)
